Unravelling Ancient Wisdom

Most of us have grown up listening to stories from our scriptures and reciting various chants, accepting them as a part of our legacy. But could there be a deeper meaning or interpretation?

Are they just stories or rhythmic chants or our ancestors were trying to communicate to us the essence of the wisdom they had realised through their experience and Sadhna?

I will take you through ancient scriptures, stories and chants in a modern context so that we understand our cultural roots and at the same time make sense of our own day to day lives.

Scriptures- why do I teach them?

During my analytical study of scriptures, I realised that Hanuman ji is always in a leadership role where he is ready to take on any challenge to help others. He is also very calm and composed while going through the most difficult of problems and does the needful without getting perturbed.

When we chant we look up to him and pray to imbibe these qualities within our own selves. I strongly feel that we can be more in sync with our lives if we learn to take on any situation head on and not get bowed down by it.
